We currently have a FT/Permanent job opening for a Phlebotomy Manager.

Duties:
Responsible for day to day management of staff (20 - 25 Phlebotomists) and operations related to clinical projects.
Responsible for ensuring compliance according to project specifications.
Hire, train, schedule and manage staff of medical technicians.
Organize and conduct project meetings with management and technical staff.
Ensure that laboratory areas are fully prepared and stocked for projects.
Ensure that all equipment is ready and in good working order.
Interact and communicate with external laboratories.

Qualifications:
1.) At least 5 years management/supervisory experience in a laboratory/medical, research of similar setting.

2.) 7-10 years of experience as a Phlebotomist, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Medical Assistant, Paramedic, or related where you are certified to draw blood.

3.) Able to prioritize projects and work schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.

4.) Experience working with and managing full and part time hourly staff.

5.) Good computer skills including MS Word, Excel

6.) Flexible with work schedules, able to work 10-12 hour shifts, evenings and regular weekends as needed.
