Job Description The Manage and direct the operations of the North American Contracts & Proposals team, to efficiently produce accurate and timely Proposals, Budgets and Requests for Information (RFI) to customers. -
Manage staff in accordance with organizations policies and applicable legislation. Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance and guiding professional development; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing employee relations issues and resolving problems. Approve actions on human resources matters, including salary administration -
Develop client specific presentations and proposals (methodology, costs, deadlines, etc). -
Collaborate with senior management and other functional leadership to improve efficiencies, project outcomes and quality metrics for Contracts and Proposals
Required Skills and Experience -
4 year Degree in Business, Marketing or other directly related field -
Experience managing and negotiating eight figured deals within CRO’s ( 10m plus ) -
At least 15 years experience in Contracts Management, Business Development, Proposals and/or Budgeting -
Clinical Research or Pharmaceutical Industry experience is a must -
Excellent domain knowledge of contracts and proposals processes and budget preparation -
Ability to interact confidently with members of clinical and scientific teams and clients. -
Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Internet). -
Self-motivated, resourceful team player with excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to perform multiple tasks.
