Role Summary/Purpose Opportunity to join the $18 billion GE Money Bank, the federal savings bank that houses the consumer assets of the GE Retail Finance business, as a manager of Community Reinvestment Act regulatory compliance.
The position will manage GEMBs community development program in its Utah assessment area including sourcing loan/investment opportunities, coordinating charitable contributions, CRA eligible volunteer events and reporting.
Position will be located in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Essential Responsibilities Role reports directly to the Banks CRA Officer.
Identify CRA eligible community development loan and investment opportunities in the Banks Utah assessment area and broader region.
Summarize opportunities for risk team and CRA Committee.
Manage CRA contributions in the Utah assessment area, identify new opportunities and represent the Bank in the Utah community.
Organize CRA eligible volunteer events for Bank staff and board.
Actively participate in CRA eligible volunteer projects including local boards and financial education programs.
Maintain the Banks online grants and volunteer reporting systems.
Manage the grant approval process in the online system, reconcile application amounts with the annual budget, run monthly reports for senior leadership.Manage documentation and reporting of assessment area CRA activity including monthly updates and annual self-assessmentCoordinate joint community development activities with GE businesses in Utah.
Participate in the GE Volunteers Salt Lake City council.
Assist the CRA Officer in the maintenance of the CRA public file and coordinate responses to any inquiries.
Participate in the CRA compliance examination process including responding to requests from regulators.
Assist in the development of and implement the Banks CRA policies, procedures and strategic plan Some travel to GE Retail Finance locations including Stamford, CT and CRA target areas in St.
Paul, MN and Dayton, OH required (Approximately 10% time).
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements YOU MUST BE ABLE TO SATISFY THE REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION 19 OF THE FEDERAL DEPOSIT INSURANCE ACT - 5+ years work experience in compliance, marketing, business development, communications or community development organizations.
- Experience in community relations, volunteer event organization or other event management.
- Experience managing budgets and/or charitable contributions.

Desired Characteristics - Bachelors degree in Humanities or Social Sciences and Masters Degree in Business, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management or other related field - Experience with regulatory compliance.
- Experience with community development finance or basic accounting/finance classes.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.- Strong problem solving abilities.
