Job Description
|
Adecco in conjunction with one of our highly valued clients is seeking qualified candidates for an Assistant Manager - Collections.
*This position will be the right hand to the Collections Manager and will be expected to, upon full training and development, handle all the duties and responsibilities of the Collections Manager.
*Participates with the Department Collection Managers in daily discussions with 3rd party field collections (TPFC) local management regarding daily results and immediate collection performance expectations. Handles this responsibility singularly in the absence of the Collections Manager.
*Compiles daily collections results through established procedures. Analyzes the effectiveness of TPFC collection activities through established daily and monthly tracking reports. Develops and implements methods for improving TPFC collection performance and appropriate metrics to monitor improved effectiveness.
*Assists or is primarily responsible for ensuring proper timing of collection activities across customer base based upon review of established periodic aging reports.
*Assists or is primarily responsible for reviewing (or developing, if a self-invoicing district) TPFC invoicing for accuracy.
*Assists or is primarily responsible for managing post disconnect equipment recovery and any local third party contractors who provide local equipment recovery services. Includes tracking results and costs of these efforts.
*Monitor and analyzes district controlled collections expenses to include identifying and recommending improvements.
*Other collections management duties as assigned.In order to be considered, please send current RESUME and must meet the below requirements:
*Must have strong analytical skills with a focus on the big picture accompanied by a willingness to get into the daily details at a level to drive immediate results.
*BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance or related degree, or equivalent work experience (NO LESS THAN 7 YEARS collections management experience in the absence of a degree.)
*Proficient computer experience with Microsoft Office products including Outlook and Word.
*Excellent communication, organizational and management skills.
*Experience managing contractors is desirable.
*MUST BE WILLING TO RELOCATE and work in any other client sites - either temporarily or permanently.
