Job Description: The candidate will be responsible for supporting on-going contracts, cradle to grave contract administration and pursuit related activities for in support of Logistics Integration Business Group and Logistics Spares Center under the Raytheon Technical Services business unit. Candidate will act as the primary interface with customers during proposal phase, negotiation and contract performance. Candidate must be prepared to negotiate sound business deals with its customers and to provide governance to the program team carrying out the terms and scope of the contract. Candidate must have the ability to work well within a team and to foster teamwork with both external and internal customers. Candidate must be able to handle several assignments concurrently while maintaining schedule deadlines. Candidate should have strong inter-personal skills with ability to communicate and articulate business goals, company policies, terms and conditions and risks and opportunities.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
A minimum of 8 years direct contract administration experience
Knowledge of and experience with various types of contracts (e.g. FFP, ID/IQ, etc.).
Leadership skills to include strategic thinking, customer focus, performance and results orientation, innovation, and influential communication
Thorough understanding of FAR/DFARS and Prime Contractor flow down provisions
Understanding of competitive procurements
Good understanding of proposal cost structure, materiel estimates, development costs, performance requirements, delivery schedules and terms and conditions for accuracy and completeness
Support the development and preparation of high quality, complex proposals
Will and able to travel as necessary for business needs
Must already have or be able to obtain security clearance
Required Education: Bachelors Degree Business Administration, Finance, Economics or Engineering
Preferred Education:
Masters Degree Business Administration (Preferred)
Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM), or
Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) (Preferred)
Desired Skills:
Contracts experience with DOD, preferably Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), US Marine Corps and US Army
Knowledge of and experience with teaming agreements, non-disclosure agreements and organizational conflicts of interest
Flexible and able to multitask while delivering timely, high quality products
Strong organizational skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
