Developer / Administrator 

Our client is seeking Developer / Administrator to join a virtual team of seven reporting via dotted line to global line manager and directly to a local line manager. Provide ongoing support, enhancement and development requirements of the Integrated Credit Environment (ICE) which is a global platform built to support the Credit Trading business. 

Position Responsibilities 

Production, User Acceptance Testing, System Integration and Development environment issue resolution

General junior DBA responsibilities (Export / Import, Performance tuning and so on)

Refreshed environment preparation i.e. post refresh application configuration via scripted utilities 

Update required technical documentation 

Communicate progress and problems appropriately to management 

Run SIT and UAT DB test cycles, investigating and resolving any issues that arise 

Deploy code to production on completion of successful testing over weekends 

Creation of ad-hoc DB utilities utilizing PL/SQL and APEX typically.

Position Requirements:  

Experience of working in a fast paced, constantly evolving, high-pressure support environment 

Analytical skill set with extensive experience of working on time critical issues in a structured production environment 

Oracle Database experience 

Performance tuning experience 

Very strong PL/SQL and SQL 

Oracle Streams Replication experience is highly desirable 

Experience of working in a Global virtual team

An organized & methodical approach
