Responsibilities:

Consulting Services is looking for senior Java/J2EE developers and architects to join our team at a large blue-chip investment bank on a project to help re-engineer their front office cash equity trading platform. The team will be responsible for the development of a variety of server-side business services within the overall SOA macro-architecture. The business services are required to operate under high volume with low latency in a high availability environment.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 5 years java programming (required);

Front office equity development experience (required);
Excellent communication skills (required);
Proven architecture and design experience (required);
Strong real-time server programming experience with advanced knowledge of the JVM, Threading, Networking and Collections;
Previous agile development experience;
Advanced knowledge of distributed computing topics and high availability;
Market connectivity (ECNs exchanges) experience;
Experience with integration to middle and back-office system from a front-office perspective;
Some C++ experience desirable.
