We have a great opportunity for a Medical Laboratory Technician to provide services in the Laboratory Department at the Naval Hospital Beaufort, SC.
Services will be required Monday through Sunday Friday between the hours of 7AM and 7AM. Services may be required on weekends and on the day of observance of Federal Holidays. MLT shifts will normally be 8 1/2 hours including a 1/2 hour uncompensated meal break.
Requirements include:
Graduate from a medical laboratory technician training program accredited by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS) or the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES).
Possess certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP), National Credentialing Agency for Laboratory Personnel (NCA), or American Medical Technologists (AMT), or state licensure as a medical laboratory technician.
