Job Summary:
The Physical Therapist evaluates patient\'s mobility and motor assets and liabilities for functional performance. The Physical Therapist provides goal directed, activity oriented treatment to promote optimum independence in functional mobility and daily life tasks. The Physical Therapist provides for continuation of performance through effective education of the patient, family or support system. The PT provides adaptive methods and equipment as appropriate to enhance performance.
Skills-Timely, thorough and accurate interpretation of patient related information as related to functional performance; Effective communication skills with patient, families, visitors and employees; Patient treatment skills that are progressive, functional and effective; Thorough understanding of and willingness to work within established practice standards and licensing limitations; Clear, concise and timely documentation skills; Maintain therapy areas in accordance with checklist; Functions as a member of a team; Interpersonal skills; Able to work independently; Able to provide service to several patients at one time.Job Requirements:
Licensed as Physical Therapist in the state of Alabama. Current CPR certification and current FIM credentialing. Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
