Job Description
|
Coordinates all Reporting COE activity.
Coordinates preparation andcontrol of the department budget, quarterly operations reports andstrategic plans.
Evaluates effectiveness of operations and conductsrefinement and/or modification where necessary.
Hires appropriatemanagement level staff and ensures proper training and sets technicaldirection for department.
Works with IT to ensure proper level ofservice.
Drives technology initiatives related to business intelligenceand works with department managers to set departmental and individualgoals.

Duties may include butare not exclusive to budget, operations, managing costs, staffing,service standards and results on an ongoing basis.Oversees all COE operations including organizational structureand staffing, workload standards, techniques, performance, technicaldirection, coordination and control of budget, and training.Establishes procedures to improve efficiency and service.Works with IT to ensure proper datamart structure and support isin place.Works with infrastructure group to ensure proper hardwareinfrastructure is in place and that SLAs are met.Coordinates with management staff to hire Report Builders,Analysts, Specialists, Leads and evaluates staff effectiveness.Ensures analytical requirements are met for each line of businessand that analytics and reports maintain consistent standards and dataquality.Develops procedures to ensure virtual staff effectiveness.Develops CAP proposals for reporting related initiatives whererequired, and seeks approval of said initiatives.Requires extensive travel.Other duties as assigned.Promotes safety at all times and complies with safety/ergonomicstandards as outlined in relevant company published manuals.

Education Requirements
Bachelors Degree required.
Experience Requirements
Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years experience working in the Farmers Claims organization and/or 4 years experience in an IT environment, including 3 years in a supervisory or management role or 1 year as a G003 Program Manager I.
Excellent communciation skills.
Special Skills Requirements
Excellent working knowledge of MS Office applications, including formulas, charts, and pivot charts and tables.
Knowledge of ASP and ASP.NET. and OBIEE preferred.
Experience in managing Database Architectural Design.
Demonstrated success inmanaging and executing complex projects.
Must have experience managing workforce capacity, staff development, and performance management.
Experience conducting technical training, working with IT, providing techincal direction and implementing business solutions a plus.
