Bank of America is seeking professional and motivated candidates interested in the following opportunity: Monitor a business credit portfolio of larger exposure customers utilizing SONAR, GMS and other systems for clients that are identified as exceptions to the bank's performance warning indicators. Apply credit skills, product knowledge and sound judgment to quickly assesses credit risk and engaging Client Managers and or Client for information to quickly resolve the issue. Responsible for timely collection of all required financial statements through direct client contact and/or follow-up with Client Managers and Market Managers.Ensuring timely renewal of expiring credit facilities and required annual reviews; Completing financial spreads and cash flow coverage worksheets for credit relationships with TBE up to $5MM; Maintaining data integrity of systems; Accurately entering credit events into appropriate tracking/decisioning system; and Routing required actions to proper associates for completion and follow-up and document disposition. Skills/Experience Required: Moderate credit skills/experience (e.g. financial accounting, commercial lending theories, industry awareness, loan structuring, etc.) but with good analytical aptitude and desire to learn, Sound judgment, Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Information resourcefulness, Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills, Understanding the Bank's credit culture, adhering to credit policies and guidelines, and documenting and justifying exceptions, where appropriate. Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting or economics preferred as well as 5 - 10 years related work experience. Required Skills: 5-7 years of commercial banking experience. Working knowledge of the Bank's systems with a superior knowledge of AFS. Strong personal computer skills. Ability to adjust quickly to changing environment. Ability to coach and develop junior associates Strong communicator (written and oral) Desired Skills: 7-10 years of commercial credit experience.
