Description Key Role:
Provide analytical expertise to DoD client and other government clients. Use excellent technical and systems knowledge to analyze the performance of the technical baseline using modeling and simulation and system engineering techniques. Serve as the technical lead of the team that determines systems performance, technical readiness, and ties to user requirements. Provide input to the team that performs verification and validation of systems component models and supply knowledge of the integration into larger scale simulations. Advise systems engineering working groups on the use of excellent technical communication skills to support verification and validation and overall program level knowledge. This position is located in Colorado Springs, CO.QualificationsBasic Qualifications: -10+ years of experience with overhead infrared systems, surveillance and tracking radar, control systems, quantitative analysis, modeling and simulation, and statistics -Secret clearance -BA or BS degree Additional Qualifications: -Experience with the Missile Defense Agency -Experience with modeling tools, including STK, infrared detection models, statistics tools, and MatLab -Experience with C, C++, Java, and Matlab programming -Experience with systems engineering, including Family of Systems (FoS) modeling and performance assessment -Ability to discuss technical details to high level clients -Possession of excellent oral and written technical communication skills -TS/SCI clearance -BA or BS degree in Physics, Engineering, Mathematics, or another technical field preferred; MA or MS degree in Physics, Engineering, Mathematics, or another technical field a plus Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information, Secret clearance is required.
