Are you ready to be a Technical Support Specialist with a leading Telecommunications Firm' Are you a self-starter with a desire for continuous learning' Then we have a position for you! In this role you will responsible for providing Tier II operational support for the Customer Service Maintenance and Technical Support, in the Local Access Provider (LAP) environment. You will also be responsible for aggressively handling maintenance troubles referred to client access suppliers and addressing joint opportunities with the suppliers to improve the interaction and interface for client business partners. To that end, you will be accountable for ensuring troubles follow all external trouble resolution and escalations processes and must perform proactive LAP work list monitoring to ensure forward progress of tickets by Local Access Provider escalations, while also maintaining on-going communication with the customer and pro-actively supply them with up-to- date progress reports which include next steps and when they will occur. Additionally, you will also be accountable for performing a number of responsibilities required for improving the customer s satisfaction, which include, but are not limited to developing trending an analysis reports, documenting post mortems, and working with extended teams to ensure that appropriate actions are taken to correct and reduce possibilities of recurring service problems. The perfect candidate MUST have a strong technical background, understand the network topology, have a working knowledge of the systems required to support critical maintenance functions, and an understanding of maintenance processes.
