Total Compensation: $100K - $115K


The Liquidity Watch Analyst will work closely with the Liquidity Watch team, supporting our Product Support, Sales, Brokerage Operations and Product groups.  This position will proactively and systematically monitor and analyze the Liquidnet Member activity in order to maintain the integrity of the system.  The person in this role will also help design, development and implement tracking systems that report metrics for Member interactions.  

Responsibilities



  • Serve as a member of the Liquidity Watch team (Member Behavior Review Board), which monitors Member’s trading behavior 

  • Monitor daily usage reports, help write requirements for new reports, investigate questionable Member behavior, prepare summary reports for Sales and Management

  • Analyze trends in the system and speak with Sales and Members about both specific incidents and overall system usage.

  • Develop and maintain automated system surveillances for all product lines for the protection of members and Liquidnet businesses


Qualifications



  • Minimum of 3 years experience working in an institutional trading environment (with experience in both the trading and operations groups)

  • Minimum of 2 years development background

  • Ability to analyze trading and system data to find trends and track behavior

  • Superb oral and written communication skills are required as the candidate will present findings and opinions to Sales, Management and Liquidnet’s Members

  • Strong industry knowledge is required and keeping current with the latest in the securities and investment industries is a must


Skills



  • Proven analytical skills and experience with statistical methods

  • Motivated self-starter, good problem-solving skills and take-responsibility attitude

  • Must be a team player with ability and interest in participating in new projects and helping other departments within the company.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills

  • Programming skills: C#, .NET, ASP, Oracle (SQL)


Preferred



  • Series 7 and 63

  • Experience with database query tools

  • Experience working with investment industry compliance
