Job Description
|
As a Software Engineer for our client, you will write and maintain code for their core Internet program. The position reports to the Core Software Development Manager. The qualified candidate will be a games enthusiast and well-versed in Java to include an understanding of MYSQL Databases. This is a start-up environment, where flexibility, a 'can do' attitude, and team-orientated mentality are essential. Responsibilities: - Develop software solutions for gaming platforms
- Work closely with game design, testing, and operations
- Be responsible for results in terms of meeting ship dates and passing code quality tests

Senior Java J2EE Development Qualifications: - BS Degree or equivalent
- MS degree in Engineering or Computer Science (preferred)
- 8+ years of relevant hands-on technical experience and a record of individual technical achievement programming solutions including C, Java J2EE, Apache, and Linux
- Must have 4+ years of experience with Java Enterprise Applications supporting paying customers
- Experience with the following technologies: JDBC, JMS, SOAP, and Spring
- Experience with development using enhanced JDK1.5 functionality
- Quick learner that is very team oriented and can work in a fast paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven success working in a creative, fast paced, deadline-oriented environment
